Review of Fraulein3°8 120 Colours Rainbow Seven Eyeshadow Palette + 31 Pcs Makeup Brushes

Hello to everyone out there who like me prides themselves in looking good and who is always on the lookout for the best make up products!

I think I might have some good news for you! Although I'm absolutely sure that a lot of you have already heard of the brand Fraulein3°8 and like me have fell in love with this amazing brand! 

You can always tell from the first time you buy something whether you are going to love it or hate it and I can honestly say that I love my first Fraulein3°8 items!

Let me start by saying that I'm quite picky when it comes to anything that touches my face...and I usually always stick to the same products, however I realised it was time for a change and that is why I looked on the internet and came across a lot of posts and reviews on the Fraulein3°8 products.  What really struck me as I looked at their website was the great variety of items they sell, from nail products to every kind of different makeup you can imagine...making it more difficult for me to choose as I wanted everything on their site!  My problem was however that I have very sensitive skin and have often suffered from makeup allergies and that is the reason I usually stick to the products I know.

Fraulein3°8 were so nice in sending me samples of the 120 Colours Rainbow Seven Eyeshadow Palette and the 31 Pcs Makeup Brushes for review, so you can imagine how ecstatic I was yesterday when I received the eyeshadow palette and brushes! 

Something very important was that the eye shadow palette was packed really well in bubble wrap...loads of it! So to anyone who is afraid of ordering makeup from the internet, you don't need to fear when you order from Fraulein3°8 as they know their wrapping stuff well! The eyeshadow palette in fact came in a thick cardboard box.  Inside the box was the eyeshadow palette wrapped in loads of bubble wrap, which after removed then revealed a lovely black box which had inside it the eyeshadow palette itself wrapped in more bubble wrap.  The eyeshadow case is quite sturdy itself so it gives a good protection to the eyeshadows inside. The palette contains 2 layers of eyeshadow colours, and what about  the eyeshadows themselves??!!

They are amazing, absolutely beautiful colours and most importantly of great quality.  You know how sometimes you see an eyeshadow palette with nice colours only to use them afterwards and you need to almost use the whole thing to be able to see any hint of colour on your eyes?? The Fraulein3°8 eyeshadows are so highly pigmented that with the first eyeshadow application you can already see how vivid the colours are!  It's amazing even without using an eyeshadow primer (I really want to get the new Fraulein3°8 one!) the colours on your eyes will look exactly as the colour in the palette!

The combination of colours is also beautiful, with tones of greens, blues, purples, yellows, oranges, pink, dark and nude colours.  Their texture and softness is also great, with a variety of colours having a shimmer finish, matte and even metallic.  I particularly love the range of greens and blues...as they remind me of spring and summer and those warmer days by the sea.

The 120 Rainbow palette has such a wide range of colour schemes (perfect for those smokey eyes!) that the only problem is that you would want to try them all! I have tried other make up brands ranging from drugstore brands to more expensive ones Fraulein3°8 is the best so far! Yes it has 120 colours but trust me it's very portable and it makes life easier as you have all the colours you need in just one palette...in fact I'm definitely going to take it with me to my next trip to UK!

And now for the brushes, a whole set of 31 make up brushes in a convenient and lovely black artificial leather case so you can carry them wherever you want.  They are of very good quality, made with natural animal hair which I was at first a bit scared to use.  However I must say that I really love the eye brushes and there is a whole variety of them ranging from smaller to bigger brushes, perfect for any look you want to achieve.  The bristles are very soft to the touch and soft on the eye, so no problem at all with the very sensitive eye area.

And the most important thing...they do not shed!  How many times have you used brushes that start shedding before you even wash them?? Well, these, at least till now look that they won't start shedding as quick as other brushes may.

What I found a bit not that soft on my face where the face brushes.  Now as I said before, my skin is very sensitive and so I usually just use my hands to apply foundation and concealer and some cotton pads to apply blush.  However, both my mum and my sister have tried the face brushes and they said they felt really soft...in fact my sister offered to take them if I wasn't going to use them...but she said she will get her own Fraulein3°8 set now that she tried mine.

And before I forget, the brushes all came with an individual thin plastic cover and the face brushes have an extra thick plastic cover which you can keep for protection.  All in all I can say that I love this set and it's great as a starter set.

Obviously these are just my opinions on both the 120 Rainbow Palette and the 31 Pcs Brush Set.  What I can say is that I will definitely try more Fraulein products because they are of a good quality and a very affordable price.  And for anyone who is interested in buying these products or others from Fraulein3°8, below you will find the links!

My new Max Factor lipstick!

Got a new Max Factor lipstick whilst in UK last weekend! It's number 827 Bewitching Coral from the Colour Collections Lipstick and the colour is absolutely amazing! I was wanting to get a nice red lipstick that suits my skin colour, but also that had some pink undertones rather than orangey ones.

And I found the exact colour I wanted! It's moisturising, it's bright, and it lasts for hours after hours!
In terms of price it was £7.99 but it's a great value for money and the best thing about it is that you don't need to reapply the lippie every hour or so as it's long lasting effects are all there.


So yep, was very happy with my purchase even though I was hesitant at first, and will definitely get some more colours from this range when I'm back in UK.
